MARVALLEY 6th BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEETING

The UAP Marikina Valley held the 6th Board of Directors Meeting last Nov. 23, 2016 at Kainan sa Bahay Bahayan, Masinag, Sumulong Highway, Antipolo City.Attendees were Ar. Philip John S. Padilla, Ar. Grace Anne R. Tamesis, Ar. Jernel B. Bagares, Ar. Ranelle T. Dela Paz, Ar.Anthony M. Rivera, Ar. Virgilio M. Balderosa, Ar. Maria Cristina . L. Bautista, Ar. Franklin E. Bautista, Ar. Roger M. Victorino, Ar. Carol C. Victorino, Ar. Leo B. Carlos, Ar Maria Rizza C. Bartolome, Ar. Raymond B. Munarand Ar. Valentine B. Borilla. Main activity for the meeting was the final judging of Design a Better World ; Economic Housing design competition entries with two James Hardie representative: Account Manager Maricar Orcino and Technical and Product Development Manager Net Saysay which will be displayed on National Architecture Week at Marikina City Hall Lobby and finalization of Marikina Valley Chapter Christmas Party. Other topics include NAW architectural clinic and exhibit display on Dec. 4 - 9, 2016 at Marikina City Hall lobby

MARVALLEY 5th BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEETING

The UAP Marikina Valley held the 5th Board of Directors Meeting last Nov. 16, 2016 at Shakey’s Marcos Highway. Attendees were Ar. Philip John S. Padilla, Ar. Grace Anne R. Tamesis, Ar. Loreta C. Villame, Ar. Jernel B. Bagares, Ar. Ranier L. Biglang-Awa, Ar. Jasmin P. Lee, Ar. Rodeo A. Vargas, and Ar.Leo B. Carlos.Discussed topics are the Christmas Party with family and the presence of Santa Claus on Dec. 9, 2016 in Blue Wave Pavilion Activity Center, Marikina City. Design Competition Exhibit on December 4 – 9, 2016 (Opening Ceremonies on December 4, 2016 and Awarding will be on Dec. 9, 2016) and Architectural Clinic on December 8 – 9, 2016 at the Marikina City Hall Lobby. Also discussed during the meeting is the upcoming Outreach Program and evaluation of submitted design competition boards

MARVALLEY DONATES FOR TYPHOON LAWIN VICTIMS TO RED CROSS MARIKINA

The UAP Marikina Valley Chapter donates to Marikina Red Cross for typhoon Lawin victims last Nov. 12, 2016 in Red Cross Office, Marikina City.

Attended by Ar. Philip John S. Padilla, Ar. Grace Anne R. Tamesis, Ar. Paul Mari D. Lamagna. It was handed in to Marikina Red Cross donations from members of assorted canned goods, instant noodles, bottled water, biscuits, laundry and bath soap, shampoo and used clothes.  

Also adopting 6 kids for insurance medical expenses.

We discuss future projects with them including seminars and blood donation.

MARVALLEY JOINS DISTRICT A5 RIZAL HERITAGE TOUR

The UAP Marikina Valley joins District A5 for Rizal Heritage Tour as part of celebrating National Architecture Week with the team KOLABORASYON - Our Past defines our Future towards Professional Excellence”.  Other UAP chapter present in the tour are, San Juan Pinaglabanan, Pasig, Taytay, and Greenhills.   Part of the our was a visit to the following places – Church of Morong, Church of Baras, Church of Tanay, and Church of Boso-Boso with the beautiful landscape and view Sierra Madre can offer last November 7, 2016.

The group had lunch and meeting over Paseo Rizal.  Items discussed during the meeting are future projects for the districts including plans for a sports fest and District A5 Assembly.  Other topics are updates on each chapters projects including Christmas parties.  The group also visited a nearby resort and events place for a possible venue for future projects of the district.
