MEETING WITH MARIKINA VICE MAYOR FOR MEDICAL MISSION

The UAP Marikina Valley Chapter visits last Oct. 26, 2016 the Office of Doc. Joel V. Relleve, Project Medical Director from the Office of Vice Mayor Jose Fabian Cadiz.

Attendees were Ar. Grace Anne R. Tamesis, Ar. Loreta C. Villame, Ar. Virgilio M. Balderosa and Ms. Esperanza S. Reyes UAP Marvalley Chapter Secretariat.

Handed in the cash donations and topics discussed are the forthcoming preparation for the Medical and Dental Mission on Nov. 12, 2016 at 8AM – 12PM in Barangay Hall, Barangay Fortune, Marikina City and other list of projects will be provided to Marvalley which can be of help to the Marikina City.

MARVALLEY 4TH BOARD OF OFFICERS MEETING 2016

The UAP Marikina Valley Chapter holds the 4th Board of Directors Meeting last Oct. 21, 2016 at 7PM in Figaro, Sta Lucia Mall, Cainta, Rizal. . Attendees were Ar. Philip John S. Padilla, Ar. Grace Anne R. Tamesis, Ar. Loreta C. Villame, Ar. Lleda T. Daquiuag, Ar. Jernel B. Bagares, Ar. Ranier L. Biglang-Awa, Ar. Ranelle T. Dela Paz, Ar. Cezar R. Dizon, Ar. Virgilio M. Balderosa, Ar. :Leo B. Carlo, Ar. Ma. Rizza C. Bartolome, Ar. Raymond B. Munar and Ar. Valentin B. Borilla. Topics discussed were the following : 4th GMM on Nov. 7, 2016 with the Halloween theme; joint Medical and Dental Mission with the Office of Vice Mayor Cadiz of Marikina City; request letter of projects from Mayor Marcy Teodoro;NAW celebration (architectural clinic, design competition exhibit, Christmas party at Marikina City Hall Lobby; Christmas Party which is scheduled on Dec. 10 and Gift giving/Outreach Program on Dec. 17, 2016. Other topics also discussed were the Family Affairs 2017 with Badminton and Bowling event. Family Summer Outing venue.

UAP MARIKINA VALLEY CHAPTER AT THE 2016 JOINT AREA ASSEMBLY - X-STREAM: ARCHITECTS IN ACTION

This year the UAP Marikina Valley was represented by fourteen members composed of some officers, board members, and Conex 2017 organizing committee members. We all decided to go a day ahead of the scheduled conference so that we could tour the city and rest before the October 14-15 meeting.

We arrived 15 minutes earlier from our estimated time of arrival. I was surprised to see a very progressive and clean city. On our first night we stayed at the Riverside Inn which was reserved for us by the Boysen Visayas – Mindanao group. As soon as we dropped our luggage at the Inn, we went out to explore the town by going to certain famous landmarks like the Molo church, the Jaro Cathedral and the Camiña Balai na Bato. This last site that we went to is an Ancestral home which was turned into a restaurant and at the same time, a museum of furniture and artifacts of the Hispanic era.

As part of our tour, we were served chocolate ‘Tablea’ drink and biscocho bread.  In the evening, we were treated by the Boysen group to a sumptuous dinner of seafoods like ‘talaba’, squid and other fish food delicacies at a sensible restaurant.

MARVALLEY JOINS THE 3rd STEELTECH PLAYBALL SPORTS INVITATIONAL

The UAP Marvalley Chapter joins the Steeltech Playball Sports Invitational last October 1 at 7AM in Village Sports cor.El Grande, BF Homes Paranaque City with delegates for Basketball, Billiards, Bowling, Badminton and Table Tennis.

Attendees competed for Basketball event are Ar. Philip John S. Padilla, Ar. Leo B. Carlos, Ar. Ranelle T. Dela Paz, Ar. Jullian Rico DL.Perez and Ar. Anthony M. Rivera.  Billiards are Ar. Jernel B. Bagares, Ar. Allain V. Josef while in Bowling is Ar. Virgilio M. Balderosa.
